AISACT 2016 Colloquium: Innovation and Collaboration

The AISACT 2016 Colloquium: Innovation and Collaboration was held last Thursday at the National Museum of Australia was a resounding success. The event was held in conjunction with the AISACT August Leadership Breakfast, where at which About My Brain CEO, Silvia Damiano presented the keynote address.

The Colloquium provided attendees with an introduction to learning analytics and sketch noting, as well as a second keynote presentation and 12 workshops. The speakers and the event challenged and inspired thinking around innovation and the future role of technology in teaching and the classroom.

The event concluded with a panel of speakers and ACT Independent School representatives discussing the key takeout’s of the day and what learnings from the day they would implement in their schools.

AISACT thank schools and the wider Canberra innovation network for supporting this event and look forward to presenting the next Colloquium.
