About AISACT

Purpose and Impact

Our 20 ACT Independent member schools are diverse, providing students and their families with educational choice in faith, values and pedagogy. School size ranges from 64 students to over 2000, with a wide choice of offerings available so that every student can find a place where they can belong and thrive, from early childhood to their senior years of schooling.

ACT Independent schools are connected communities of school leaders and teachers, supporting each other, sharing ideas and innovation, finding many opportunities throughout each year to connect and build positive relationships.

Through professional learning opportunities and governance networks, AISACT ensures our mission of educational excellence is achieved. AISACT builds connections among the three education sectors through advocacy, representation on a wide range of boards and committees and is committed to supporting every Independent school in strategic and bespoke offerings.
