2019 AISACT Colloquium - Impactful Change through Instructional Coaching
Date : 26/08/19 - 26/08/2019
REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
This is the fifth year of the Colloquium and it will once again be open to all education sectors across the ACT. The AISACT 2019 Colloquium will provide an opportunity for educators from the ACT education community to explore the compelling argument for embedding instructional coaching in education. Instructional coaching is increasingly recognised as a key ingredient in school improvement and a way to build teaching and learning capacity as well as developing leadership skills, which all contribute to improved student outcomes.
AISACT is fortunate to have attracted as keynote speaker Dr Jim Knight, Senior Partner of Instructional Coaching Group ICG and a research associate at the University of Kansas Centre for Research on Learning. He will be joined by Chris Munro, Director of Growth Coaching International GCI (Vic/Tas), who is passionate about teacher growth and leadership and the powerful role that coaching can play. They will unpack an integrated and evidence-based approach to shed light on how we might bring about impactful change through instructional coaching.
