Overview: Recognised as a 21st century skill, teachers are implored to help students to grow good problem-solving abilities. This professional learning provides teachers with the tools and understanding to help their students to develop problem-solving skills and become thinkers of the future. The Australian Curriculum acknowledges that developing thinking skills is a primary purpose of education and ‘the importance of critical thinking is expected to increase as the world becomes ever more augmented by artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies’ (Daniel T. Willingham, How to Teach Critical Thinking; Education, Future Frontiers Occasional Paper Series – May 2019).

This online workshop provides teachers with the tools and understanding to help their students to develop problem-solving skills and become thinkers of the future.
