Youth Mental Health First Aid

This workshop connects relevant research and understanding surrounding adolescent mental health problems and adolescents in mental health crisis, through understanding the prevalence and approaches to strategies for adults (teachers, TA’s and office staff) within a school environment, including crisis situations within a school setting. Topics covered include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders and suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

Capped at 25 participants.

Cost: AISACT has the financial capacity to offer this opportunity to Members at a greatly reduced cost of only $50 (GST inclusive) per participant.

10 hours (must attend Day 1 & 2)

Day 1: Tuesday 21 May 9.00am-4.00pm

Day 2: Tuesday 28May 9.00am-4.00pm
