Developing a Child Safe Strategy for your School - Halloran & Morrissey

Member schools will participate in workshops designed to support the development of a Child Safe Strategy within their school. The program is designed to be practical and helpful to assist schools to initiate the often difficult task of drafting a child safe strategy. The intention of the program is for participants to make significant progress towards drafting a meaningful child safe strategy for their school. Each workshop will focus on a key component of developing a child safe strategy including Students, Staff, Risk and Risk Management and Operations.

Cost: $160 per registration 

Three workshops to be delivered across 2024: 

Session 1: 9 May 2024 (9am–12.00pm) 

• What’s a child safe strategy and why is it important? 
• Understand your School’s current state and risks.  

Session 2: 1 August 2024 (9am-1.00pm) 

• What does your School need to focus on and why? 
• Supporting a child safe workforce 

Session 3: 31 October 2024 (9am-10.30am) 

• Implement, monitor and continuously improve your strategy.
