Daramalan College is an independent Catholic co-educational school operated by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. It opened in 1962 and now has approximately 1430 students in Years 7-12.
The College is located in the Inner North of Canberra and is well positioned for students from all over Canberra and the surrounding areas. The College caters for the needs and interest of a wide range of students. In addition to the broad formal curriculum, there is an extensive co-curricular program which includes Visual and Performing Arts, Sports, Debating, Science and Community Service.
Over the past decade the College has undertaken a significant building program including a new Science Wing (being constructed in 2016), new buildings for all Design and Technology subjects incorporating an excellent Trade Training Skills Centre for Metal Engineering and Automotive Technology, a Flexible Learning Area and new student amenities.
