Gillian Andrikos

Disability Consulting Teacher, School of Special Education Needs, Department of Education Western Australia (WA)
Gillian has worked with young people with disabilities for 20 years as an occupational therapist and special education teacher. For the last 10 years, Gillian has been employed by the Department of Education WA as a consulting teacher. In this role she has worked with schools across WA to build staff capacity and support students with a variety of disabilities to learn and participate alongside their peers. Gillian is also completing her PhD through Curtin University, conducting research into social emotional learning and school-based regulation supports for students with intellectual disabilities, particularly those in inclusive school settings.
